Dead Engine: Reman VS JDM used?

I have alot of mods and 140,000 and a worn out main bearing. My question is: Should i go with a JDM or a reman engine? Also if anyone can give me some good advice I would appreciate it. Have EVO III GT turbo + other mods made 275/275 @ 19.5bls on pump gas. would like to hit 300 and some change in the future.

Assuming your still on the 7 bolt, you could rebuild it but there is always that chance of getting crankwalk.

If it were me and I could do it over again. Buy a used 6bolt longblock and pull it apart replace the essentials and do it right the first time so you dont have to do it again. If you are going for anything under 400 whp, really the only performance parts to the bottom end you would need to be safe would be ARP headStuds and a thicker headgasket(cometic or MLS).
