IAC went bad. Tested at ~50 ohms. Ordered one from RockAuto- Rookie move. Tested too high in ohms...~50. I did order a new one thats on the way but i have a feeling it will be bad as well. Going to try and use the vendors more.

Going to spam on here so i can get out of this probationary period.

Got Enekei TS-5 and Feal coilovers few months later… was sitting like a truck for a bit

Also both door caps broke off so currently in the market for 2ga ones
Hello, may I ask about the TS-5, they look like a great fit on the 2G, and they remind me a bit of the Evo 8 Enkei 6 spoke wheel, it's hard to tell from the image but are you running 17 or 18 inch? Also what width and offset if you can share? I'd love to know since I like the idea of driving with a 17 inch like the Evo wheels but trying to find them secondhand doesn't really edge out pricewise compared to getting a new set of wheels like the TS-5s, plus the 5 spoke design looks nicer imo compared to the 6 spoke design, especially if you get some nice calipers.

I completely agree- they're 18X8.5 +38
Thanks for the reply, may i ask how do they ride? From what i’ve read and watched 18 inch wheels tend to give issues to the 2Gs. Do you experience any rubbing/scrapping or contact with your suspension components or wheel well? Are you on stock suspension? Lowering springs? Coilovers? Wheel spacers? Would love to know.

They're not terrible- i got Feal Coilovers and it took a couple of adjustments to get it right. It's only bad to the point I have certain roads I take because potholes are terrible but i don't clench on speed bumps or RR crossings anymore. If i do hit a big bump, the fender is actually what makes first contact- iI have little lines in my tires from rubbing but nothing that isn't manageable.

Busy couple months. Lost brakes on road, replaced brake master cylinder and still had no fluid to the rears. During the downtime i moved main fuse box to Stock SMIC location and am currrently building a splash shield for that and a cold air box for my intake. Replaced a couple hoses and gaskets, installed a boost gauge, and removed my ac system (in NC summer..). Eventually replaced proportioning valve and brakes work well now.

Wasnt able to get the materials need to custom fab some of the things i want so i decided to check my ECU instead. Overall in pretty good condition. I, very luckily, have a stock EPROM ECU so that gives little peace of mind but still might send out just to get cleaned up at some point. Have a while before i get into that realm of the car. Hoping to replace CV Axle and tie rod ends this weekend.
