DC-S style header

i was searching for headers and found this dc-s header on ebay. does anyone here have this header, and is this a good buy?

I don't like how thin the flanges seem to be. For a quality header you need to look at thick flanges(where the header mounts to the head and the cat) Thicker flanges reduce the possiblity of warpage and leaks. I'd pass on it.

I have one it's pretty nice, and it comes with a new flex pipe(not a downpipe, those are for turbos)

I agree with Redmachine... remember you are getting what you pay for

as for SSautochrome I know that the N/T guys with their headers have had no problems but when I saw this with one of their 4g63 manifolds I kinda got a little scared of their products, talk about some thin piping WTF

Yeah, the SSAutoChrome is fine for a 420a, but in anything that is F/I you're asking for trouble.

I have ssautochrome for my car. They look and perform great. But anything with a turbo, their stuff looks skechy. SSautochrome is a good buy for n/t though.

You guys might want to look for a ZR header. I only paid 139 shipped and the flanges are at least 3/8" and it has stainless steel triple layer piping. I would know this becuase I decided to go off road and tore up my flex pipe pretty bad. I then had the flex pipe cut off and it took him 7 new DeWalt blades to get it off. When it was finally off we looked and it was three layers thick and 2-1/4 ID. I am using header wrap on it which I have used for 8 months now and no leaks anywhere. I found mine on ebay and it is a 4-1.
