I'm looking into datalogging options, and am leaning toward the free MMCD and a cheap palm to start off. Do I need a Windows based PC to get the most out of logging? Do you all ever use your PCs with logging off of a PDA?

I have an Apple, and I'm just wondering if I will be somehow limited in my abilities to utilize the logging software if I don't have a PC. Thanks ;)

If you use a palm to log and then just sync it, you will only be limited on logging by the sync software or log reading software that you can get for the mac. i would love to use my mac for logging, but having a 17" powerbook makes it a little hard to keep nice and tune/wrench with it. i bought a cheap compaq that i am going to use with dsmlink for the 1g once it comes out.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I've learned that most Palms are compatible, and Sony Clies can be made compatible with a free download :)
