I'm interested in running an eprom ecu with tmo stage 3 chip. I'm finding it very hard to tune with my current set up and just bought an eprom ecu. I currently use an obd2 datalogger to tune with. I will loose this ability once I install the eprom. What do you suggest to use to tune with? I have an egt guage, but I'm somewhat reluctant to loose my logging ability.
Thanks for the advice

what???

First off there is no way you are currently using a palm to tune your car. Monitoring things yes ... tuning no. Are you running an safc? Gm Maft? Installing a 95 eprom won't change your tuning abilities at all. You can still monitor with the palm and tune with an safc or whatever you want to use. The chip will get you fairly close as it is, then just finetune with whatever you are using now and use the logger to see what needs to be adjusted. Maybe I read your question wrong?

Sorry, I meant I log with my datalogger, and tune with my safc and fuel pressure regulator, I use my egts and values from the datalogger to determine what changes I need to make to my safc settings and fuel pressure. I had assumed that I would no longer be able to log because Digital tunning does not offer an obd1 logger setup, and the logger I have is an obd2 specific logger. I like being able to watch my short and long term fuel trims and monitoring/clearing ses codes. Sorry about the miscommunication, do you still think I can use my obd2 datalogger?

Although the federal government mandated that all cars manufactured with the 1996 model year needed to be OBD-II compliant, Mitsubishi introduced the OBD-II with the 1995 model year.

So, in a nutshell, yes you will be able to use the pocketlogger software with the 1995 EPROM ECU. :thumb:

Thanks for the info!

Don't buy that cable. I bought one from him, and he had my diode in backwards, and the cable wouldn't work. And he doesn't respond to emails. After i took it apart, I relized how simple it is to make. If you have ANY soldering ability, you can make one for about $8 with parts right from Radio Shack. Do a search or message me on how to do it if you go that route.

Yes, you still would need and EGT probe
