1G Dash pad peeling up

Just noticed the other day that the dash pad was starting to peel is self up. Looking if anyone has any experience with this and the best way to reattach it. Was thing some sort of spray adhesive or double sided tape.

Run an extension cord out to the car.. Use the wife's hair dryer to warm it up... Don't get too close... Put some contact cement under it and then apply pressure to hold it down… Maybe put some weights on it overnight.. That should fix the problem..

Forgot to mention... let the glue tack up for a few minutes before you push it into place...

I’ve read thru the several threads on this topic and decided I would try this method when it comes time to glue mine down.

Mine essentially looked like that. Put down your glue, loctite pl premium construction adhesive from lowes for 8 bucks. Heat it up the pad

area with a heat gun to stretch and make it more pliable then lock it down before it cools with a board and clamps, wait 48 hrs for full cure.
