Cutting out Eagle logo on 97-98 Talon Bumpers?

Your car listed is a 99 GSX Eclipse. So I'm guessing you did a bumper swap? Now are you talking about cutting it out or you want to get rid of it as in fill it in? Cut it out I can't help filling it in I can tell you everything you need to know.

The original talon I saw with this was yellow I believe, and didnt have mesh. Looked much cleaner

not a fan of the mesh. i belive ive seen what your talkin about like it was smoothed over with body filler and painted. ill try to find it.

I hate to bump older threads, but I am still looking for a way to tastefully get rid of the Eagle emblem. Does anyone else have any more ideas/photos? I am not 100% sold on what was presented thus far .

i hate how all of em look. If ya wanna do something different then cut out certain edges of the symbol, and put a light behind it to make it glow.

If you don't like the bumber i suggest bondo and smoothing it down, or swapping to an eclipse bumper.

I have seen some people put an Eagle logo in that spot. I think it came off another eagle of some sorts. I'll try to find a pic.

Not a big fan of the big gaping hole look. Smoothed over doesn't look bad, but i really like the one miniturbo23 posted. How about an eagle logo on 2gb eclipse bumper, alway kinda wondered what that would look like.

Thats actually what I'm gonna do hopefully by the end of this month. people with talons are gonna hate me but hey its my car and I like the fact that I have a Talon but I like that bumper better.

Yea thats why I was wondering, because my car is a talon and I thought about put my eagle logo on the 2gb bumper but wasnt sure if it would look good or not. Still thinking about doing it, my bondoing skills arent the best where i covered up the triangle that was there before so im really wanting to cover it up.

Well did you see the picture I put up I know the guy because he local and we go to the meets.. that can just got right on top of our 2gb bumper. you know without having to do too much.. plust that mesh he did came out way too clean lie OEM. anything we can do for air righ??? I'm putting the hood with a scoop I wanted OEM but we need hot air out of there.
