Custom Sump/Tank and A1000 setup

So folks, I am upgrading my fuel system. I run a stock fuel tank and have fabricated a sump/custom secondary tank. Not sure it can be considered a sump as it is not directly mounted to the tank, but anyway.

I hope it's ok to post this here, I am an ex-dsm owner and still DSMer in my heart. Unfortunately it is not easy to find them around here in Brazil where I live now, so I run a 2L 5 cylinder Fiat, it is called the Fiat Marea Turbo.

So going further, I had some serious constraints in space, so had to figure something out.

The setup works like this: Stock Fuel Pump and Tank. The stock pump feeds this secondary tank, which is mounted close to the stock tank-- it is about 0.7 gallon. I had space constraints, so I made a housing for the Aeromotive 100-micron pre-pump filter inside the tank. The exit of the tank is actually a "butt copy" of AN10 filter housing, with the AN10 line connectin. That goes in AN10 line to the Pump. The pump is mounted a little lower than the 2nd tank, I couldn't go any lower than what the picture shows.

From the pump on, it has the secondary filter 10-micron in its original housing, using AN10 connections. From that it exits to another AN10 connection that connects to the new fuel line, made from stainless steel, using same diameter as the AN10 connections. here is the new line:

This line goes to the engine bay, from there it exits in AN10 connection in traditional aeroquip line that connects to a custom made Y type block, which actually has 3 exits: 2 for the fuel line, 1 for the fuel pressure sensor of the standalone EMS.

I made new fuel rails, one mounts in stock position, the other one goes a little above in the intake manifold. We cut off the original manifold and customized it a little bit:

The car runs on pure Ethanol, Turbo is a GT3582R turbo w/ A/R .82 exhaust housing. It has made 459whp @ 26psi, but it was running lean above 7000rpm. It could've made more power. I ugpraded the secondary injectors from 80lbs to bosch 160lbs and now upgrading pump and lines too. Hope to go 40+ psi and see what it makes once the new fuel setup is done.

Please share opinions on the secondary tank setup, which currently is my concern.

What type of racing is this car doing? I'm wondering what function you envisioned that tank serving as I see flaws depending on the application just from its orientation and pump feed location.

This is a street car, it does no racing at all, just random pulls.

Flaws I see is the tank size, small difference in height from tank to fuel pump.

Considering the g force, when car moves forward, it should not miss any fuel as everything will be thrown out backwards. As in circuit, I can probably see an issue as will be more constant WOT and there will be a time where the stock pump may will not flow enough to keep the tank full for the A1000. Also, when hard breaking, if the quantity is low, it will pull the G's forward, making it not able to suck out if the quantity is lower.

All in all, for a street car I think it may work. I believe a nipple on the bottom of the tank instead of rear would've been wiser, but then the tank design would have to be re-done. Already spent more than I can handle right now, so I am just looking at things for the future. It should work, with some limitations. All criticism is very welcome to drive improvements in the future.
