Alright I'll start this with this, I'm no new comer to the dsm world and I know the random problems that can occur but I'm beyond done with my GST.
It began with a no start, so I replaced cam position sensor, crank position sensor and then my starter went, so I replaced that. New plugs and wires (Iridium) and car still won't start. I have no fuel or spark -_- I sure it's the mpi/fuel pump relay because it tested bad.
So I call up mitsu and they tell me it's 89$ and would take a week and I'm not waiting I can't. So I take the old one apart and notice that it is two standard 2g relays together. So I search for hours and find that advanced auto sells them. Only one per store so I got one and about to get the other. It takes a little modification to the housing but it's the same internal relay as the stock ones.
My question is can I just plug the two in and on each relay there are the 4 pins (8 total) but 2 of each 4 are copper and the other 2 "gold" does it matter which way they are plugged in?
Help is very much appreciated.
