cruise control to non cruise

i recently broke my throttle cable and bought a new non-cruise control cable...can anyone give me instructions on correct uninstall of old cable(s) and the reinstall of the new one? and what all am i removing from cruise control? am i removing the whole pump and all by the air box?? please post pictures if possible!

No write up find the old one rremove it and install it fairly simple took me less than half an hour, gas pedal, throttle body easy.

Just follow the cable from the tb to the gas pedal, anything attached to it, remove it

There is a canister lookin thing on the pass strut tower and a box with pulleys/cables. Remove these items and the cables connected to them and install your new noncruise cable. Done

Remove the cable end from the throttle body and then go under the dash and unclip the cable end from the pedal.
3 bolts for the pulley box, 2 or 3 form the canister, 2 on to of the manifold, 2 on the fire wall. Remove those 9 or 10 10pm bolts. Whith those removed, everything can come out.

Install is the opposite basically. Start with bolting the cable to the fire wall, put the cable end onto the pedal. Next route the length of cable under the intake manifold for a cleaner look and loosely bolt down the cable to the manifold. Hook it up and adjust the cable just loose enough that the plate isn't being pulled open.

Grab a friend, pole, block of wood, heavy rock and press down the pedal. Look at the TB plate and make sure it opens 100%. If it doesn't adjust the cable adjustment (2 bolts on intake manifold) so it does open 100% with the pedal fully depressed.

That's all there is to it, short and simple.

Am I getting rid of the pulley system? The new cable just hooks from the throttle body to the gas pedal? And can some one show me pics of it installed so I know exactly how to route it under the intake? And how do I get the cable off the gas pedal I can't seem to figure it out...

Every current part of the throttle cable syetem comes out.

The cable is attached in with a push style fitting that is a little tough to get out. Just pry upwards on it to pop it out of the top of the pedal assembly.

Ok I installed my new non cc throttle cable today and it seems loose...I have the bracket as far to right as I can so it tighten the cable...but it doesn't seem very tight...so I start my car it starts fine idle is back to normal around 800-900...so I put it in first and go down the street shifts fine even better than before...but I come to a stop sign so I put it in neutral and it stalls...start it up again next stop sign...same thing...help me please
