I searched but didn't find any threads with related issues. Here's the problem, I don't normally use my cruise but it's nice to have if I'm feeling lazy. The cruise works but the switch to turn the cruise on won't stay in the "on" position. So, I push the button, it lights up, and as soon as I let go the light goes back off. The cruise will work, however, if I hold the button down and turn the cruise control on. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I'm pretty sure that's just a momentary button, so if it lights up while you push it, its probably fine. There are however, switches on the clutch and brake. If it thinks the clutch OR brake are depressed at all, it's going to turn itself off as soon as you let off the button.

Well I just went out and checked and I'm pretty sure the switch on the back side of the clutch pedal is the one thats screwin things up. Upon inspection, however, the adjustment proved too difficult as the nut was pretty stuck and its freezing outside so I'm just not going to worry about it for now as it's not a huge deal. Thanks guys.

i had the same problem but wanted to get rid of my cruise control as i will be tracking my car. If you find you have any faulty parts with your cruise setup i have removed mine and replaced it with a non cruise setup so i might have spare parts if you need them. other than that Let us know what ya come up with.
