to delete cruise control do you completely get rid of the box on the firewall? it used to be an automatic and its swapped to a manual so i dont want it anymore.

In short, to get rid of the black box, you need a non-cruise control car's throttle cable. They can be bought for fairly cheap; +/-$60.
