Cruise control after a 5spd swap 2g

Has anyone found a way to make the cruise control work on there car after swapping it from auto to manual? I am tired of not haveing after i had it for so long. Just curious if anyone has found this majistical answer yet.

Cruise control doesn't work off of the tranny if I'm not misstaken

No it doesn't run off the trans, however you won't have any of the electrical for it. After market maybe?

I believe you need to wire the clutch sensor ( the one that senses if the peddle is depressed so you can start the car) to the ecu. I am not sure what wires to tap into, but i believe it to the starter relay, if you search you will find it.
I did a 5 speed swap as well, I just switched to a non-cruise cable.

I have been debating that one for a while to go with the non cruise cable, since we can't seem to get it working. What cable do you need to switch to non cruise?

pretty much every dsm vendor sells them, like extremepsi, its like 27 dollars.
