Crower Cams

Are Crower (NOT BRIAN CROWER) cams any good?

they are what I am buying for mine with the crower springs and retainers. i've done a lot of reading and for my engine they good.

i have read that the BC springs aren't very good though. crower ones are better.

i think ppl with the 4g63 prefer the Deltas, HKS or kelford, or FP though.

search the forums though. tons and tons of threads on cams. i spent a good week reading through cam reviews. lots of info on here.

OP.........just out of curiosity, what turbo are your running?

your profile is not filled out, are you running the stock 14b since you have a 91 gsx listed?

Most cam MFG. make good cams, for example there may be 6 different "272" each one could behave differently either you have to go by other peoples opinions on the cam or learn what behavior the cam spec. will do for you.

crower springs are good but found out running the manely spring and shimming them they are much stronger then the crower, but crower cams are great cams

Sorry been a busy last few days. Im running a hahn racecraft super 20g. The car is still in pieces waiting for paint/parts so I havnt filled out the profile yet. I plan on starting a build thread today or tomorrow. After a lot of research I've found the grower cams are one of the hardest to dial in as far as decreeing goes. I ended up getting a set of fp 272's instead of the crower.
