Crower Cams Stage 2 Turbogrind

The cams each have a different color painted ring on them. I need to verify that the machine shop put the cams in the correct position. One has a green ring and the other has an orange ring.

If someone knows which is intake and which is exhaust and could let me know it would be great.

I called Crower, but did not get ahold of anyone and left a message.

It's pretty much impossible to put them in wrong... they only fit one way. Due to the camshaft position sensor, the exhaust cams will only fit on the exhaust side and the intake cams will only fit on the intake side.

I knwo this is old but why were you wondering because I think i'm in the same situation you were. I have crower staqge 2 and crower stage 3 cams sitting here and they both look different than what everyone says they should look like.

Slippi: I finally got my problem figured out. Mine ending up being my cam gears and the timing marks on them. The thread at the bottom explains what I found. I thought it was my cams at first. But now the car is running normal and idling great.

Thanks man. Yeah good thing you didn't end up like me. you and everyone shoudl read my "don't buy crower cams" thread before you throw a set of crowers in a eclipse no matter where you got them from. Crazy stuff. Yeah I'm still gonna do some things with this car try to get into the low 12's or so but I don't knwo if I'm gonna push it like I was only because it just got promoted to dd duty . so maybe a 150 shot and stage 3 crower cams and everything I already have. I have some nice plans for the body too
