CRNAE ignition adapter

I Got a Crane igniton box for my car but I need a tach adapter #6000-8920 which is about $70. MSD also has a TACH ADPATER for its DIS -# system with the same part number #8920 which is about $20 on Ebay. Does anyone know if they are interchangable?

I though about calling MSD OR CRANE but Im pretty sure they would not tell me the truth.

For what it's worth, I've seen an msd dis-2 wired without the adaptor on a 95 awd. Unfortunately this was years ago and I can't remember how it was done.

I bought 2 of these things since i didn't want to splice the harness, it looks like miniature step down transformer. oh well, if the msd looks anything like it, I think it will work
