There's always cameras around Sam

So, I've had several days, but I still can't figure out if the lack of a comma between "around" and "Sam" is on purpose.

You do realize that Charles is British, so AMERICAN English is not his first language. Maybe that's how they punctuate it over there. I still get confused every time he says "tyres".

I don't think he meant to say I've got my own camera crew.
Lord knows, I'm still trying to teach him how to turn on the GoPro.

But, Sam, I, too, was educated in the UK and, therefore, use commas their way, including the so-called Oxford comma before the "and" at the end of list, in fact. tee hee
