To shave the pop-ups we would have to generate a new mold and this would cost YOU more money if you want me to I can generate a mold just for your shaved pop-ups but you can pay for the tooling to make the mold.

How much more would it be because, I would really be interested in one with the headlights molded in? I think those would sell really well also.

This is the deal either we go oem style or shaved. Since i think molds are going to cost me like 600 or so. So if I only have two people that want the shaved one there would be no way to make up the cost of the mold. I spoke to the guy today and it looks like about 2 weeks until we can meet up and get a mold. So i guess the big thing here is OEM or SHAVED who in favor and whatever i get the most response out of i will go with. Right now I have about 37 intrested in the oem but no $ meaning anyone can bail and I might just get 10 people who knows. The more people I have the less it will cost you!

for us 90-91 one guyz...andys auto sport has a oem cf hood with the flip up lights...somtin like 390....i have a frend that got it and it fits good, unlike their kits. any way...check it out ...they are under the mitsu. section on the right and it will fit 90-91 talon and laser. check it out...i would go with shaved....but where would u put the headlights and high beams??? let me know how to do this conversion. but i would say i would PROBABLY be in for shaved . depending on price of course

We are not being dumb, we just are blessed with a creativity which you obviously were not . I personally plan on a headlight mod which will light up the night just fine, and I wont be stuck with the ugly 1ga popups. If you want a oem hood, buy one, they are already being sold. i would personally like to see another option for our 1G's which so often get ignored. And yes, i said blessed.

What is this "headlight mod" which you speak of? You would have to basically use 1GB lights or a style like that, and I personally like the pop-ups, but would be interested in this mod you are talking about.

Well damn, now I got to tell everyone . Basically getting rid of the "angles" (sanding, buffing)in the lense of the narrow headlight when the lights are down and replacing the standard light with some projector style lights.
