To my knowledge vis doesn't make hoods for pop-up head lights. Also hey you know what go ahead and buy some shitty hood. I have had one customer already sell his other hood just to purchase the ones I'm selling. If you are interested post something if your not then don't bad mouth quality products. And last of all know what your talking about before you run your mouth because the people I distribute for are the only people that make the pop-up head light hood in carbon! THANKS, Jason

VIS does make 1ga hoods. They make 2 or 3 of them actually. Nobody was badmouthing the quality of your hoods. You on the other hand are calling other people's hoods shitty and are basically calling the people who bought them stupid. What people were complaining about was being mislead by the original post where you listed these hoods would be cheap. I and most other people would assume that cheap refers to the price of the hood versus the general market price of hoods currently available. Maybe that price is cheap for CarbonTrix, but compared to VIS it is expensive. Also, I have only heard good things about VIS's cf hoods (their other products may be questionable but the hoods are well made).

VIS's site that lists 3 hoods for the 1ga. I've only seen the OEM and Evo style for sale online though.

I'm sorry for stating vis doesn't make the hoods. If your where to look at when they put that on thier site it was only 4 days ago. From my knowledge they didn't make them I apologize to all of you if i affened anyone. My friend has a vis hood on his integra and it has cracked already IDK what that is sapose to mean? I can call VIS for you guys and make an order of 30 and see what kind of deal i can get if anyone is intrested. Thanks, Jason

id buy one for the 1ga ..

i also think it would be sweet if you made one for the 1ga .. so that you can take the lids off the pop ups and leave them in the down position but still have a whole hood. instead of the pop up lids being different . that way the whole hood of the car is carbon fiber.

before you post, please read the thread. i think he made it very clear that he will only go with one mold, and i guess he got a few buyers and went with the popup light mold as he stated in page 2. if you want one without popups, give him 1050$ + shipping.

no i mean *eliminate* the pop ups in the 1ga by keeping them down and removing the pop up lids..

anyway $1050 is rediculous .. i can get the pop up lids in carbon fiber for $150 and the 1ga hood oem carbon fiber for $305 plus shipping

so i think ill pass

Carbon Trix does make nice stuff... but from a consumer's point of view a no frills OEM style hood for $450 isn't enticing enough. However, if the hold has their reverse vents incorprated, then we're talking.

FYI, VIS does have 1ga hoods now, OEM and EVO style. Haven't seen any pictures yet.

The hoods look exactly like the evo7 hood with the scoop in the middle I called and tried to have them send pictures of the hood and all they could say is it looks like the evo 7 hood. I guess the pics on thier website look like the hood. Jason

id never buy something i never saw before. I understand it LOOKS like the evo hood...but would feel better seeing the ACTUAL hood that fits on our cars....
