The rear window wiper motor frequently operates for no reason. Is the motor bad or is there a relay of some sort that controls the power? Could it be the dash switch?

haha creepy. does it happen when you go over a bump or is there something in particular that you notice that triggers it?

Problem solved. Let my wife clean the dash and she pressed the intermittent cycle (very small detent and hard to notice) by accident and I didn't notice it and just thoughtit was in the off position. Women and DSMs don't mix.
