I was in the process of putting my crank and such on this short block, when i noticed my crank didnt look right. Im going to try to upload some pics and describe Why i got arrows pointing at certain things.
Picture 1: This picture looks normal I have arrows pointing to two humps in the crank which i will refer to in the next picture. Also this is one side of the crank i will roll it for the other side.
Picture 2: The red arrows point to a different set of humps but look very worn out or rubbed down by something. The blue arrow points to a hole that looks to be worn on the left hand side next to the arrow point.
Picture 3: The red arrows in this picture show more holes that have been rubbed down on all the left sides. and by left i mean the crankshaft pulley is on the far left and the flywheel is on the far right.
Picture 4: This time the arrows point to something that appears to be cut off
Any help with what in the world could have happened to this crank or just a simple explanation of what you think happened in each picture would be awesome! Im Pretty sure this crank is ruined. I'm just happy i caught it before i torqued it all together ha ha! If anyone has a crank thats good and is willing to sell it pm me. Id rather buy one off another dsmer than somewhere else. I read this thing three times to make sure my grammar is good. Pardon me if i misspell some things
