crankpulley question

Hey guys Ijust got my engine back from the machine shop andI was putting the crank pully back on and accidentally turned the crank when tightening a bolt. Is this bad? What should i do?

I'm assuming the timing belt is on, since you wouldn't put the crank pulley on before the timing belt.

The crank turns all the time when the motor is running, I'm not sure what you are worrying about.

Ok thanks for the quick response. Yes the timing belt is on. I guess i just freaked out a little bit. I'm just a little nervous, first time engine build haha. Sorry for this usless post. But should the engine be at TDC on the first start up or it doesnt matter?

No it is still in time it will be ok.
