Crank Vents a good idea or not?

So i recently was on dejontools sited and found some things called crank vents. it is easier to just post the explanation of them from the sight than to explain them. so here it is

Crank Vents solve the problem of pressure buildup in the engine during boost due to pressure entering Through the PVC valve. These devices are one-way valves that can stop 1000psi. The big one goes between the manifold and PVC valve (shown on left) to stop boost from entering the engine. The small one goes on the valve cover vent to pump air out (not in), building a vacuum in the crankcase. This results in more horsepower (stop pumping air below the piston). If your dip stick pops out under boost, this problem will be cured also.

my question is that blowbye causes your dipstick to blow out. if your pumping air below your pistons your getting blowbye and need a rebuild right. its just covering up a bigger problem. and if there is a vacuum in the crank case would that not cause you to then suck air though the rings instead of oil coming through them then creating pressure in the crank case. I'm proabley just being retarded but i dont see the use in these and honestly if your dipstick is popping out a 50 cent spring from home depot is cheaper than a 100 dollar valve. right.

As for the vents, these are designed to keep a negative pressure in the crankcase. Their design isnt really doesnt creat negative pressure and isnt going to be any more beneficial than running a properly funtioning pcv valve and venting the other side to atmosphere. The most benefial way to do something like that would be to install a vacuum pump and run negative pressure in the crankcase during wot operation. That effective removes any exhaust gasses from the crankcase and the vacuum also stabalizes the piston rings during high rpm and helps keep them sealed to the cylinder walls. This is just a quick description of how the pump works so I know I left a lot out. You can google it and find probably 200 pages explaining the use of crankcase evacuation so there is really no need for me to try and explain the whole thing.

There's a thread on this which I can't find. The concensus was that it's the solution to a problem that no one has. The case gets pressurized by blowby, not through the PCV -whcih would go right on out the vent on the next corner of the cam cover.
