Crank pulley moved away from block

My brother has a recently built 6 bolt with eagle rods and weisco pistons. He has a brand new crank and the motor was put together professionaly. Today we were coming home and we pop the hood and the crank pulley is pushed out a good inch and it looks like its about to jump timming. What happened please help us out here. Thanks

Get a picture. Hopefully you just need a new damper.

The pulley has seperated, replace pulley. (Harmonic balancer)
