Due to some squeaking and such I inspected and discovered a faulty crank pulley. I bought the new one, and borrowed the proper tools to remove my old one. However, the impact gun is not moving the center bolt at all. I had the line pressure at 100psi, (started at 80 and increased) I was using a snap-on gun. Should I proceed with caution at this point, or just use more pressure and possibly a better gun?
Thanks,
Jon

hmmm....i was not aware of that....

what does the center bolt do?

*edit
more importantly, how do I get that bi*** off, just keep beating on it?

This might sound stupid, but check that the torque on your impact wrench is turned up. I had the same problem and felt pretty stupid when my buddy cranked up the torque and started laughing at me.

The gun was on the highest setting, that bolt is just in there, probably with lock-tite. I got the pulley off with the outside 4 bolts, took some whacking with the hammer, but it came off and the new one is on, much better, no more awful noises from the T-belt side of the motor.
