I have a 1995 Eagle Talon TSi, recently I got the car running decent, fixed some boost leaks, etc.

I was doing a second gear pull out of nowhere the car died smoked like crazy (I’m not sure where from) now crank no start, did a compression test and all cylinders have 155 psi. I don’t think it jumped timing I just don’t understand the smoke and no start?

I’m not sure from I was doing a pull with my friend and he noticed it it was night time but he says it was white but car has no sign of head gasket failure and I believe it it jumped timing it would have low compression

White smoke is burning coolant in cylinder. Usually either from blown head gasket (to coolant channels) or leaky turbo bearings/seals/crack. Do a cooling system pressure test. Then a compression test when engine is warm (sometimes small head gasket ruptures don't open up until hot). Also a leak down test will help tell if HG or turbo.

All I have done is check the plugs and compression test also check main fuses the car didn’t have check engine light before but now I can’t tell anyway cause all it will do is just crank

What do you mean you can't tell? ECU still works even when car isn't running. Check engine light should illuminate at key on and stay on for 5 sec. If it stays on you have a code. If it doesn't come on at all you have a bigger problem.

If it stays on and you don't have a code you likely have even a bigger problem than no CEL.

The first test is simple. Turn the ignition on and watch to see what the CEL light does.

Like Paul said. It should turn on for about 5 seconds and then turn off. If it doesn't turn on I'd start looking at the MPI circuit to make sure that is functioning and providing power to the ECU. If it turns on but never turns off, you use a OBD 2 scanner and check for codes, if that doesn't work you pull the ECU and make sure it isn't damaged.

Two common failures are capacitors leaking and solenoid drivers burning up.

Crank sensor has its own harness until it leaves the cover. You can replace it. Check the crank trigger for damage. If its damaged find out why. Possible crank thrust issue. Also possible crank harness is damaged. Done any work on that area recently?
Last question, why did yiu say no codes then a short while later say it does have codes. What changed?

So at first when I turned the key on the check engine light went away after 5 seconds put it in scanner and no codes, then I tried to crank the car later just out of curiosity and check engine light stayed on then threw the crank sensor code. I’ve read some people haveing same issue changing crank sensor and still same problem and code we will just have to see, also pulled ecu opened it and did smell or see anything wrong to me
