I am installing a crank into my 95 Gsx. Its a revised block with the 3 piece thrust washers, I am following the procedure that says hold crank towards the front of the engine and hit the cap towards the rear. I have .003 feeler gauge in the rear side of thrust journal but none on the front side of it am I not prying the crank towards the front hard enough?? I cant find a happy medium? Im sure its not supposed to be rubbing right?

Its not a metal scraping sound either , its more like dragging a broom across a floor
