Resolved crank position sensor plate install

Searched and i couldn't find a definitive answer. When installing the crank sensor plate does the step in the center of the plate go towards the crank as to hold the plate away from the crank or does the step go away from the crank as allow the balance shaft sprocket to sit inside. Did the best i could to explain it but if not i could provide pictures, thanks for your time.

Don't tighten her too much, remember its just alluminum.

Huh? The front cover is aluminum. The plate is steel.

Looks like the raised section is againt the tb gear.
