Blown headgasket, warped head or you cracked the head by a water jacket and it's pouring into the cylinder.

what does WARPED mean? and how much should the compression be at?? or what do i look for?

"WARPED" means that the head has been heated up so much it has caused the aluminum (that the head is made from) to bend. This usually is not viewable by the naked eye. It must brought to a machine shop and they wil be able top tell you how much your head is untrue or WARPED. Then you may either have the head decked (trued) if possible. It may be so bad that buying a new head is the cheapest way to go. Good luck with this one, if you ask me it sounds like it is cracked, due to the extremely high heat. You may want to go a head and replace your coolant thermostat just to be sure it isnt sticking. Thats an easy $10 fix. :talon:

Everyone has it pegged right. However once you remove the head and have it repaired/replaced, please find the source of the overheat. I would personally have a radiator shop certify the radiator is good. Replace the water pump, thermostat and gasket. Leave nothing to chance as this is going to get a bit pricey to say the least. Also, make sure the fans are coming on by themselves and at the proper temperature. This varies from vehicle to vehicle but should be around 225 or so degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure they also turn off by themselves. This should be around 190 to 210 give or take. Always look for the cause. You have an effect which is "white smoke" If you don't find the cause you can have another "effect" and I don't think you want that.

Good Luck
