Crack Head?

Well i was wondering if my car is a crack head.

every time i push my car or drive it for a very long time like 2 hours non stop becuz i commute once every two weeks. When i arrive at my distination i could smell a fishy smell. Like if antifreeze was being burnt some where in my engine.

Also when i press my brake pedal it does a rubbing noice and it only does it when i been driving for a long time or pushing my car. Is that normal?

I dont know wuts the problem or if it is a problem. My fluids are all good too.

if you had a cracked head...it would either leak coolant, burn coolant, and there would be coolant in your oil, and oil in your coolant. Your car would also overhead depending on the size of the crack and the amount of lost coolant. are you blowing white smoke out of your exhaust when you drive? thats a good sign that your headgasket is going and your going to want to get that done so your block DOESNT crack. do a pressure test on the coolant system and if there is a leak somewhere..you will loose pressure and you will most likeley hear it. i heard it on mine and i got some head work done.

White smoke only appears when i start it and warm it up.After it is warmed up the smoke disappers. I thought that white smoke was only water vapor

How do i do the pressure test on my coolant?

and as for the other question i dont have my e-brake up when i drive.

Say it with me...S-P-E-L-L C-H-E-C-K. It's there for a reason use it. I had to go get some Aleve after reading that. Also might want to change the title of the thread if you want to keep it open. Now to your car. The antifreeze smell could come from a number of things. Could be a leaking oil cooler or a leaking heater core. Good idea would be to compression test to see if it is cracked which I doubt because you would have some overheating issue's. I would pressure test your coolant system and see if it leaks of loses any. Also take your rad. cap off when your car is running and see if it is bubbling any. As for the rubbing sounds you probably are just riding the brakes to much and getting them hot and borderline warping the rotors. When was the last time you had the brakes checked.

I changed my brake pads about 3 months ago but never got inspected by a pro.

Its been doing that noise about last month because i think what started the problem was that i needed to stop really quick one time when i was doing about 120mph because i saw a cop coming into the freeway. (it was in a lonely freeway )

since then i been hearing that rubbing noise. Thats what i think what happened




So if i see any bubbling in my anti freeze what should the problem be?

I cracked my head a few weeks ago, I found from from getting a coolent system pressure tester. Pressureize the system while cold, leave it pressureized. mine dropped from 15 psi to 5 in about 5 minutes..and one of my cylinders filled with water . I held out hope that it was the HG leaking into the cylinder, so I pulled the head and had it pressure tested at a shop (cost me 30 bucks) and they broke the bad news. Tiny crack right above a valve seat
