2G CPS wiring

Does anyone know if the CPS Blue/White runs straight into the ECU or is there a disconnect? The schematics in the Haynes manual makes it look as if there's a disconnect, but i'm not sure that there is.

The CPS (crank position sensor) BLU/WHT wire goes directly from pin 2 at the sensor connector to pin 89 at the ECU. Its a straight shot, nothing is tapped into it either.

That is the best thing I've ever been told on this site. My cars been down a month because of that wire. Thanks
