Couple questions after Greddy Type S install

ok here is the deal, i installed the bov with the dejon tool uicp on my talon. The upper nipple has the hose connected to it just like the OEM bov was. The larger opening of the bov is recirculated into the intake just like the OEM bov was. The famous lower nipple is left open like i have read that people usually do. So it is connected correct, right? Well why does the bov whistle at little to no throttle? It sounds like someone is whistling, and i am not talking about a Whssshshshs sound. That part of the bov sounds fine. I didnt mess with the setting of the bov at all, it is straight out of the box setting and it is fine. Do i need to check the tighness of the vaccum hose or something?

Also, after the install i drove it around for a couple days and accuired a boost leak. Looked under the hood and realized that the hose that goes to the top nipple of the bov is hitting under my hood and so is the end of the bolt on the bov(tightening bolt) and since the hose is hitting it caused a large gash in the hose. I cut the hose so that the gash is gone and I am sure it will do it again. Any sort of quick fix for that? My UICP is on tight and does not move at all. Will i need to get a different UICP, maybe something that angles the bov in more? Thanks guys

sounds like you need to tighten the bolt on top to stop the whistling noise. mine is tightened quite a bit. i still have the stock ic pipe and don't have any clearance issues so that's gotta be your problem

Man that sucks, I installed mine last week straight out of the box, and all I can say is it kicks ass.... I also installed the Greddy IC Pipe Kit, and an Extreme PSI Intake..... it's all really bitchin.... and new different sounds are unreal....
