COSTLY laser rs project

ok to make a long story short i had a 1994 talon dl. when it died i bought a lightly wrecked 91 laser rs n/t. I put the whole talon front clin and interior on the LASER, thus changing it from pop ups to composite. It has a 4g63 in it. i was told it only needed a cluth.
so far ive had to
change timing belts
change water pump
change fuel pump and repair fuel hose
change tie rod
fix oil leaks
clutch and flywheel re-surfaced
slave cylinder
This is what all has been done so far. so with all this in mind is the 4g63 a good engine? my last dsm was a 1.8 and probably the slowest car ive ever owned haha! am i headed in the right direction with this car? Any advice would be appreciated and id like to know what to expect with this car. thanx!

and yes those are ford probe rims dont act like they dont look good....

I've owned both a 1.8 and a n/a 4g63 and it's a big difference between the too.My personal opinion is the 4g63 is a better built better running motor of the two.
