i think its fair to say that more people crash driving normally compared to how many street racing accidents there are. if they are really trying to increase overall safety, i say they make the driving test for your license harder. i know you can all agree when i say there are way too many bad drivers on the road. those are the ones who cause the accidents, not the tuners that actively work on improving our driving skills.

Especially the stupid ####ing soccer moms/"business men" that talk on the phone while driving.

yeah, but then again, there are more people who drive safely than compaired to those who street race. The number is going to be bigger due to the schear number of women who drive, and thats not the governments fault. Do you have any idea how much trouble our government would get into if they banned bad drivers? Women everywhere would be flipping out, because they can't throw their kids into their suburban XXXXXXXXXL and floor it down the road with no regaurds to anyone else. Plus that, it would put gm and ford out of buisness to ban bad drivers because probably 60%+ of them drive suv's or trucks, specifically gm/ford suv's/trucks.

I find it ####ing retarded though, how man pay more for insurance than women, yet women cause more accidents.

Quit shutting down more tracks, I don't street race but a lot of people do in my town because their is no track and the closest quarter mile track is 3 hours away and last time I heard it wasn't going to allow public races anymore, which means street racing may increase if tracks close down to the public

It's not like people are forcing you to street race. Or you have to street race to live and it's the closing down of tracks why you got caught racing.

People make their own decisions and know the consequences. They had been tracking these guys for a while now, so more then likely they had footage etc. It wasn't just like they had modded cars so they are going to get arrested.

I'm sure all of you have well exceeded the legal limit on the street. And then to say these guys deserve this, without knowing the whole story is sad.

If they got caught in the act, then its one thing, but to me it looks like police over stepping their bounds, while some guys hang out in a parking lot. It's awfully hard to "street race" 4 cars at the same time.

If ya read the story they (cops) have been gathering evidence on the street racing cars fro a couple of months. So stop crying and like LEET said come back in a couple of yrs..
