just got another 2g turbo, but this ones awd and stock. my other car is running a garret 60-1, but this one I was thinking of using a 20g, because it seems to me since our cars have the oil and water cooling for the stock t-25s, the 20g which utilizes both would be more effeicient and have more longgevity than a comparable sized garret which is only oil cooled, am i correct in assuming this? if we have two ways of cooling it down why block one off, seems like the garretwould get half-ass cooled, right?

you can have both 360 deg bearing and water/oil cool center section though.

the ONLY ones that have water cooled still use a 7cm2 housing like the one SBR and FP uses. AGP and PTE use custom housing that were meant to bolt up to Mitsu mani & o2 housing BUT at heart still are oil cooled like all Garrett Turbos

But Garrett center section can be swapped with oil cooled or oil/water. As much as I know both garrett center sections are same design and mounts the turbine and compressor the same.

hopefully this one won't blow up like your last one! :D

what are you talking about, of course it will, LOL, but 4g63's are cheap so it'll be. okay anyway, so the bearings in a garrett turbo are better/more durable than a mitsu, and the additional watercooling has no benifit? than why would anyone ever but a mitsu turbo, other than not wanting to buy a compatible manifold?
