That may be true for the military applications but that stuff is just to dangerous for the civilian folks. All airliners either have 3000psi o2 bottles or bottles for the pilots and O2 generators for the passengers. The O2 generators use a chemical reaction activated by a precussion cap to Produce O2. Another example is when the masks drop down out of the ceiling when a plane is going to crash, this is emergency oxygen and is lox that is boiled off and heated. Aircrafts have what are called lox converters which is where the lox is filled up onto the aircraft and it is stored.
