That may be true for the military applications but that stuff is just to dangerous for the civilian folks. All airliners either have 3000psi o2 bottles or bottles for the pilots and O2 generators for the passengers. The O2 generators use a chemical reaction activated by a precussion cap to Produce O2. These things get so hot they can char a paper cup black. Either way don't mess with LOX :thumbdown

u can't use it underwater in diving, cuz there is no heating element on the tanks to warm it up enough to be breathable.

Diving has been quite fine with compressed air (upwards of 1200 psi), and Nitrox for those of us who want to play with chemical air.

Just thought I'd throw a side note out.

if your talking about me, its because at the time i had a small IC running alot of boost so the IC would heatsoak in no time. this stuff was my crutch untill i could afford a real IC and i'm just trying to help out fellow dsmer's that are trying to go fast for less.

i don't think i even have 1,000 posts in here

i wasn't knocking you or the kit just saying every thing i have read on co2 or n20 you have brought the kit up and how great it is and all.. there was just a review on it and i think he has a good idea but he needs to change a few things if he is going to do it right.. i rather spend more $ on a better kit....

in that case don't buy a n2o kit just put the fitting in the ic pipe by the throttle body running just a line to the bottle have someone open it up and whats that like a 1,200 psi??? they make good kits for a reason. i think he has a good idea but i think the quality is alot better in the nx kit. now plese post about Liquid oxygen.. if you wanna say somethin.. or check out the thread jake just posted about your boys kit go to it

there are no kits for 25 dollars. like i said, go to homedepot and make your own for that price.

i wasnt including a bottle, but im sure you could pick up a pinner 9oz bottle from a local for like 10 bucks.

Yes they are completely safe. Nitrous is not flammable unless mixed with gas. Im planning on making an intercooler for my car out of a 20 oz co2 bottle.

Liquid CO2, during the phase changeing from a liquid to a gas gets down to about -100*F

Liquid O2, Well I dont remeber off hand but I do know it's a SHIIIIIT load colder. some where around -275 to -320. (I think)
