Let's start off with what isn't wrong with my cooling system.
All heater/water hoses have been replaced with 4 ply silicone hoses
oem water pump with 1k~ miles
cxracing radiator with 1.5k~ miles
JUST installed a stant failsafe thermostat
has 2x pusher and 2x puller fans (yeah yeah bandaid)
Head has 1.5k~ miles on it as well as the head gasket
heater hoses are same temp to the touch so the heater core isn't blocked or anything

My car reaches operating temperature within 2-3 minutes of idling, 1-2 minutes of driving. Thermostat doesn't seem to be opening, the old one looked super fresh and the new one is...new. I see coolant circulating. These issues first arose when I noticed after having my timing fixed (was 3 teeth off and running shitty/hot as you can imagine), i drove it like a normal car should be driven after timing was fixed. Come time for me to pull on my street, I check my temp gauge and it's 3/4 the way up there easily. I shut it off and coast, and all I can hear is my overflow tank trying to jump out of the engine bay. Pop the hood and of course I'm pissing coolant from the tank, it's shaking like a dog who hasn't seen it's owner in a week. *FOR SURE HEARD FANS KICK OFF* Let it cool down and drive it the rest of the 3 second drive to my house. Next day I replace the thermostat and try to burp the system. All that happens is it gets to operating temperature, and the cooling level rises and bubbles appear. Fans no longer kick on, bottom hose isn't as hot as the top hose. As far as I knew, the thermostat opens by itself at 180 degrees. Does anyone know what is causing my car to heat up so quickly, and why won't my thermostat open? Fans I'm sure is probably the switch but I'm not even focusing on them for the moment

as the above poster stated, check for exsaust leasks. and to verify that the thermastat is working properly id take it off and put ot into a pot of boiling water with a thermometer.
but theroretically, your thermastat should be working because your overflow was bubbling.

I'm trying to figure out my cooling problem also the guy I bought my talon from is a joke. They cut the stock power wires to there's and the only way it works is if I connect the 8gauge wire directly to the battery.
