Alright heres the deal, Last week I replaced my coolant temp sensor as the wires had broken off of it. I put a new one on from mitsu and soldered the wires back. It worked fine for about a week until I decided to fix the sensor for the temp gauge as the wires had broken off on that. I fixed the gauge and it works now, however when I went to go start my car, The CEL came on. I scanned it and it threw a code for the coolant temp sensor to the ECU. Now I dont see why this would happen as I have a brand new OEM one that is not even a week old. The only conclusion i could draw was that something must have hapened to the wiring. Fast response from any one who has had a similiar experiance or thoughts on this would be appreciated as it is starting to get colder and starting with no CTS is such a pain.

The wires were soddered correctly. It ended up that the wires at the connector had become brittle and broke off. I used some electrical connectors and fixed it. thanks for the feedback though.
