So, I've got my motor back in my new galant vr4. I had to swap in a new motor. Anyway, it was leaking before, and it is still leaking now. I looks like it is leaking coolant, but it seems to be coming from where the oil return line comes out of the turbo (to go to the oil pan). Can that be right? Maybe it is coming from somewhere else. My oil does not seem to be mixed, though I am not running the engine much and the oil is still clear, so hard to tell.

I know that my oil return line is messed up. I forgot to mention that the car came with an ebay 16g. The return line barely bolted in. I had to force it a lot. Looking up there, the gasket isn't even on correctly. Do they make flexible return lines?

My main concern is whether or not I am actually seeing coolant come from that line. I know that it is dripping coolant. Ug...

To add-

I think it might be just coming from the rear coolant line, but I will still need to locate a new return line that fits better. Any ideas on that?

Coolant lines run on the sides of that turbo, right? I don't know what an "ebay" 16g is (I really hate that nonsensical term), but if it's anything like a regular 16g the inlet and outlet coolant lines are on the sides of the center cartridge, and the oil are top and bottom.

Your probably leaking from the line that comes off the therm housing, the top one, which would be coolant into the turbo.

So check your fittings and tighten them, or slightly move them and retighten.ITs probably that simple.

Does this ebay 16g have water lines with banjo fittings to it ? if its water cooled you could check that and copper crush washer on the banjo bolt, or the hose connecting to it. Its probably dripping from there down to he oil return line.
If your having trouble with the oil return line, you can buy a more flexible one like this for example :
Oil Lines :: Installation Accessories :: Turbochargers & Accessories :: DSM :: Mitsubishi :: Modern Automotive Performance
stm has oil return lines and also water lines as well from what i found
STM: 90-99 DSM TURBOS
Hope this helps :)

Pressure wash down the bay so you can get a good look at everything, it will be much easier to hunt down the leak

Carefull... my old ebay 16g had the water lins on the sides and the oil lines on the top. But when you would dump water in the top (where oil feeds the turbo) it would come out the other 3 holes meaning that the water and oil would mix inside the turbo then dump into the pan.
