I am considering purchasing a Chrysler Conquest and had a few questions. It has the 2.6L turbo motor. I'm not sure if those are 4G54s or G54Bs. However, I was wondering if it was possible to bolt on a DOHC Turbo DSM head onto that block? Also, what would I need to know about the sensors/computer/harness compatibility? Any help is appreciated. :hellyeah:

I know in Japan you can find a Starion with a SOHC 4G63 so swapping heads is probably a possibility. But for all the trouble you would probably just want to swap the antiquated G54B for a 4G63 from a DSM, yes it's a ton of work (from what I've seen) but the payoff seems higher than just swapping heads.

Wow I never realized those things came with a 2.6L. That's crazy displacement. Has anybody swapped one into an eclipse or talon with the 4g63 head? Seems like the ultimate swap with forged internals and a huge turbo.

The heads are not swappable from what I know. The bottom ends are very strong but the head flows like crap and the throttle body injection is horrible. My buddy swapped over to multiport fuel injection system which took a lot of different parts consisting of mustang throttle body and injectors. Still head flows like crap. Another friend of mine is doing a 4g64 swap which is the best bet.
