Ok guys, im confused.... i just ordered my clutch and accesories... i just went on all data and it said in BOLD and CAPITALISED that you should NOT resurface the flywheel when you change the clutch.... this confused the hell out of me.... i would like to know what do you guys think i should do.... The company i got my clutch said that i HAVE to resurface the flywheel because the disk is made of kevlar and it will shred itself if the flywheel is not resurfaced.... What should i do??

If there's cracks, you'll want to replace it. If there is minor heat-checking, it will probably be okay to resurface. Any shop that does flywheels should be able to spot the difference with a glance, but will still Magna-Flux it. Wet.
Unless you're re-working the Fordson on your Oklahoma ranch, always have the flywheel resurfaced.

Make sure the shop is aware of the step.
