So i just got done bulding my motor this weekend an got it fired up and running. Its definitely different with the evo 9 pistons, fidanza, and act 2600. Anyways ive been doing alot of accel and engine breaking and just got to 100 miles and did an oil change at 50 miles already. I have a few leaks i need to fix but thats about it.
So i did a compression check starting with cylinder 1
170--- 165---170---170

Anyways how does that sound for 100 miles on the motor? It seems to run good but god slow at 9psi on the 14b. I am also using the modified 2g timing map.

So does that mean the rings have already fully seated? I was told once i reach full compression is should be good to run synthetic but im not sure, i got like 12+ quarts of chevron delo 400 to use up.

I would wait to 1500 miles before switching but I would say at this point its broken in. Doesnt take long.. What cams are you on? Stock I assume with that high of numbers..

yes sir stock cams. So you think it would be safe to drive it like normal again? Like stop go, highway mixed daily driving stuff? Maybie some more WOT pulls, ive on done 3 so far and it feels pretty slow at 9psi compared to 21 i was running before. LOL

I ran synthetic rotella t6 5w-40, 250 miles after first startup. My compression is 175 across the board, with 9:1 wiseco's, and 272 cams. The only parts that need to "run in" on our engines are the rings. After they have seated, synthetic is fine.

You got it!

O yea you can drive it like you normally would now. Sneak up on the boost to keep your AFRs in order as well as the timing. You can use up that oil you have or bring it back and get a credit for it.

I got it for free from my work, they use it in the diesel trucks but i works very nice in turbo gas engines. I found a oil though on the oil pump side. gunna have to pull the timing cover later and find out

Should i be safe to run the car at the setup i want to, its at 300 miles and the 3rd oil change. like as in turning up the boost and running my gt32 with the 680cc

your not going to get that much boost out of those injectors. I would wait to up the boost untill you get some bigger injectors and something to tune with like dsm link.
