Compression/Leakdown test results

Compression Test results:
Cylinder 1-4

148psi, 150 psi, 150 psi and 152 psi

Leakdown check results:

All around 10-12%

Leakdown tester was the cheap harbor frieght low psi tester. Doesnt really work very well and I dont think the rings can seal correctly under such low(around 10) psi right? Because on all the cylinders the air was leaking past the rings into the crankcase, could hear it threw the dipstick.

Couldnt find a good comparison results for the same car i have (1992 Eagle Talon TSI) need to update my profile sorry. That seem pretty normal for results?

150 is good for a 6 bolt turbo 4g63. It's what I got when I tested my 1990 gst and it runs like a champ.

if you can hear it through the dipstick than that is your rings. 100 shot of pressure should tell you. harbor freight is cheap stuff but should be close to telling you whats wrong and whats not. one way to check it rings went bad is to check if your burning oil. what the site mod. post is also a good thread to learn too. with good compression i wouldnt worry that much about the leak down test.
