canada,
Ok,

I have made the decission to switch my tranny fluid from GM Syncromesh to Redline MTL or MT-90... now my qustion is

where i come from in Canada its COLD in the winter time and fairly hot in the summer time, on vfaq it recomends that stright MTL is good for cold conditions and MT-90 for warmer climates.... which one
should i go for? Should i Mix and if so how much of each!

Thanks
:dsm:

:talon: I'd say from a chemist aspect...in the winter, mix mtl:mt-90 as 75%:25% then in the summer I'd mix it vise versa...that way you can have it both ways...but if you don't want to do it yearly and it is your daily you'd want it reliable in the winter...hmm...I'm thinking lucas or royal purple....I'd say just put the MTL in for year round, you shouldn't notice THAT much of a difference.

I was reading and ive been hearing that MTL really wears down Syncro life. Is this true? What are you runnin for tranny fluid.

Thanks!

where did u read/hear about it??

if it is true, then i am sure no one will use MTL the first place...

btw, i have 100% MTL, on my awd, i am in Edmonton
