1G cold good warm wont start.......

ok i have bin having this problem with my car for about one week now i bought new plugs and the car was fin for about 1 week then when the car warms up and i turn it off all it does is dump fuel in to my motor and it wont start what could this be thanx.

my car runs fine when it is cold but when it is warmed up it wont start could it be that coolent temp sensor.did a log and it said that one was bad what one is it tho

(1) Bad engine temp sensor (for ECU - not the gauge one) or wire fell off so ECU always keeps mixture rich. (2) Injector(s) stuck open.

It is the sensor on the bottom of the thermostat housing with 2 wires. It has 2 prongs on the sensor one is perpendicular to the other.

it says i have a bad coolent temp sensor so could that be it.

the log said it is the is number 21 what coolent temp is that the ecu one or the other one.

The top sensor only feeds the coolant temp gauge in the cluster, the logger reads from the bottom one (via ECU)...

if that's what you're asking.

yes its not the gauge it is the ecu one do you think thats y my car is all f*cked up

Crack open your ecu, its like 4 screws, 3 bolts then 4 more screws and you expose the board. (aka, 4 screws rmove the panel drivers and passengers. then 3 bolts to remove the ecu from the car then 4 more screws to open the top case). Here is what to look for to see if the ecu is fubar
