i have a 91 talon 2g63 n/t and i have not a clue on what to do for a cold air intake how would i go about doing this i believe i have to custom make one but how any replies would be helpfull thanks

I had the same issue as you...Sadly for our cars intakes aren't as easy as throwing on a pipe and a filter like civics and what not. We have a Mass Air Flow Sensor connected to the filter which you cannot buy pass..This sensor is the plug which you can find on the housing for the air filter. It's very simple however to rig this. All you have to do is unbolt the air filter housing, and the pipe. By the way the housing I'm referring to is the shell that covers the air filter. When this is all apart you will see a group of honey combs (do not damage these). Now the part with the honey comb should be connected to part of the shell with the clips on it...simply get a large enough filter that the honey comb part can fit into...then connect the tube...heres a picture for you..

Hope this helps at all...remember be careful with the honey combs..and make sure you reconnect the air flow sensor plug

alright thanks my guy i should be able to throw something together with that advice thanks....by the way after the intake spark plug wires and an exhaust what would u advise for more horses???

get some headers! for a non turbo it's one of your easiest and best gains and makes your car sound much better...you don't have to worry too much about quality with the headers with our non turbos unless you're looking to turbo soon...i bought tsudo headers off ebay for about 150 after shipping i think...i like them a lot..also while your at it think about getting a high flow cat

Hey mike, when i come down next time i'll see if i can help you find the intake. It might be possible to bed something up. All you need to get then is a filter off ebay. I'm thinking of asking my freind on where i can get light weight metal like that and see if i can get it bent up to fit your car.It might be your x-mas present. don't rush into it though mike ok. get that exhuast though and see if you can get like 2.5" all the way through at the exhaust shop. LOL peace out and sorry for the door. mike is it a 4g63 or 2g63 LOL check next time.
