Coil On Plugs???

Has anyone ever heard of a COP system? Coil-On Plugs? Do they actually improve you rev and idle and such? Are they worth it? Or just a sham? Cause I saw some on ebay and was curious.

Might be nice on a real high HP car. Buschur has a nice setup.

Not of much advantage for 99% of us though.
