hi. I'm swapping my coil on plug setup from my 90 to 91 talon. The connection plugs are different on the two cars. Ive attached pictures. not sure what to do. The plug from the coil on plug set up from the 90 talon has four wire and the plug from the 91 has only three wires. Not sure how to splice them together. Any help would be awesome.
Thanks.

What I used for my 91 :)
Coil-on plug wiring
The black with white stripe wire (12Volt) on the dsm harness gets split into 2 wires, one going to the green on the intrepid #1 coil and the other to the green on the #3 coil. The white on the #1 intrepid plug goes to the Green on the #4, the white on the #3 goes to the green on the #2. The red galant wire goes to the white on the number 4 and the galant white goes to the white on the #2. Also the little black noise suppressor get tied to the Galant 12volt near the plug.

Hi still looking for some help on my coil on plug set up. Im going from a 90 to a 91. All the wire seem to line up to the new 3 wire plug from the old four wire plug except the yellow tach wire coming out of the tacho interface. I'm not sure what to. Any help would be awesome.

Thanks
John

Why did you create another thread on the same topic, asking the same question? Your question was already answered in the other thread you posted.

I really tried, followed all steps but Im still left with the question of what to do with the yellow wire off the tacho interface. the problem I have with that think its a new coil on plug set up going to the plug off a 91 not a 90 to 91 conversion.

so I did a bunch of reading can I attach my tach wire from out of the tacho of interface to the number 5 pin of the 91 power transistor module?

And a different wiring for the 91+ Power Transistor Module

1=Yellow/Black Collector 1 (OC1) Coil B
2=Yellow/Red Base 1 (IB1) ECU pin 55
3=Black Ground
4=NC
5=White Tach Gate output ECU pin 109 and Gauge Cluster
6=Black/White +12 IG1
7=Yellow Base 2 (IB2) ECU pin 54
8=Yellow/Green Collector 2 (OC2) Coil A
