Ok so I have v3 dsmlink and I believe my clutch switch is giving me problems or something at least is

I believe the car never did this before but I now just noticed it

Ok

So I can start the car with out pushing in the clutch but that I believe that has to do with the starter switch on the clutch pedal

So when I rev the the car up sitting still and the clutch out the car will rev to what the 2 step is set to not to the rev limit
witch is no big deal but I was thinking about using the no lift shift setting and it won't work right because the car thinks the clutch is alwes in

I tested the lower black switch on the clutch peddle and it still works and is plugged in
Is that the one dsmlink uses to control the 2 step and no lift shift

So if the switch is still working what is giving me the continuous clutch signal

Thanks guys for you help

Car drives fine

It is set to turn off at 8 mph in witch it dose I can rev to full rpm when I am moving over 8mph

But my no life shift will not work because it will engage the no life shift as soon as it gets to the set rpm not after I push in the clutch

You do have the clutch cut wire installed? Dont just test the switch either. Make sure it's being physically pushed. Worn pedal assembly clutch pedal wont come up all the way and wont push that switch. Pedal assembly can also be missing the little rubber plug if I recall. Go look.

It most definitely is being pushed in all the way

Clutch cut wire ? Not sure

The car came with this stuff done to it I can't say for 100℅ sure it hasn't alwes done this sense I bought it because I don't rev it up that high for the hell of it all the time so I haven't noticed it till now

I will have to look in to installing the clutch cut wire because it dose not have one plus it is on a 90 car so I can't just buy the cut clutch wire and install it but still should not be a prob

As far as the 2 step the cut clutch wire fix that problem at all or will it just stay the same as it is
