no but it could brake it when you are dumping the clutch to launch. But just stepping on the gas no. if you have a stock clutch i wouldn't recommend launching with two step the OEM style clutches are not made to handle that type of abuse! your axles are not made to handle it ether. Upgrade Upgrade! unless you like fixing and braking stuff! LOL
 
I made well over 600whp on stock axles, it's all in technique and pre-loading the drivetrain to avoid breaking parts. If your car is around the 350whp mark, there should be no reason to break axles when launching off the stutterbox if your technique is correct and you are pre-loading the drivetrain. As for the clutch, the stutterbox doesn't directly hurt the clutch, launching on a stock clutch with a weak pressure plate will cause it to slip and burn up the disc.
